Greetings readers! Are you still with me? I’m so grateful that you are!

This blog has been dormant for a few years now. Like you, we’ve been busy growing up all the way (if that’s a thing), plus surviving pandemics and fighting fascism. Even with that outer-world stuff happening, the Spin Cycle in my own life slowed down a little at last, and the nature of my stories and how I tell them began to change.

I never stopped writing, despite the silence here. I’ve been working on some bigger projects, and also watching in fascination as my girls master adulting in their different ways. Much as I longed to keep tossing their brilliant teachings and diverse adventures into little word salads for you all, it felt like we all needed time to just live our way into the new space life is becoming for each of us.

Now we’re ready – will you follow me over to my new storytelling place, Circling the Center? If you subscribe you can expect one post a month or so about everyday happenings, big lizard-brain feelings, and never getting it quite right but trying to fail better every time. Aida and Mimi and some of the others will show up now and then. So will the crone I’ve happily grown into. We’ll look at life, values, hopes, fears, and making it all work from the different perspectives that aging and experience and paying attention can bring – Circling a Center that we never quite reach, but having a great time trying.
